Ed brought his parents on stage and interviewed them. Hearing their stories and how they've lived their lives is inspirational. The lessons learned motivate me as a parent to invest even more in my kids.
T.D. Jakes came out firing....so much to catch...he spoke about Exodus 4:1-12
How did they know? I'll be traveling to Africa in October with some fellow Springcreekers to visit the area in Katito Kenya where we are sponsoring children through our partnership with World vision.
Our church has sponsored close to 500 children in this AIDS ravaged area and will send close to $500,000 dollars over a three year period. Our first team meeting will take place this Sunday, over 60 people have expressed an interest in the project.
Dr. Ed Young concluded the afternoon by speaking about what a leader must do in order to grow....his passage was Isaiah 54:2-3
A leader must....strengthen his stakes.
Why? In order to lengthen our cords.

Ed shared a lot of personal stories about changes at Fellowship and he explained how he investigates ministry first hand...by walking around, asking questions, taking pictures, making calls. Ed is very hands on.....he knows what is happening. He inspects ministry.
